Films may be selected: Any genre and any length: feature, medium-length and short films (fiction, documentary, animation...).
Conditions: Independent author's films from Canada and around the world, films promoting cultural and cinematographic diversity within Quebec and Canada, promoting Black cinema.

Nota Bene
Previously known as the Montreal Haitian Film Festival, it's the Canada's Biggest Black Film Festival. Last year's edition of the Festival screened about 100 films from 35 countries and paid tribute to legendary actor, producer and activist Danny Glover as well as Academy-Award nominated director Kim Nguyen (REBELLE / WAR WITCH, shot in Congo Kinshasa).
