Synopsis

Lola, a 27 year old new yorker, hopes to become a famous dancer. When her friend Yussef tells her that a Broadway producer will have diner at the restaurant where he works, Lola is persuaded that it's her unique opportunity: she prepares a show for the producer. There where she met with Zack, a business student, from Arab origins with whom she falls deeply in love.
One day, he lets her down and went back to Cairo.
Yussef tries to confort his friend Lola by showing her videos of the greatest belly dancer Ismahan. That's how she decided to make a trip to Egypt in the hope of finding Zack.
In Cairo, she visits Ismahan, who living in recluse, refuses to teach her dancing. But the determination and the charisma of Lola allow her to succeed.
