Fuego gitano The Gipsy Way It is a Duet of Gypsies musicians : Doulen (solo guitar and singing) and Joémy BATISTA (guitar).
Native of Montpelier these catalan gypsies are musicians from many generations, Joémy being the grand son of the Great Flamenco Guitarist Manitas de Plata

At the antipodes of their origine, the duo found refuge in the South Pacific in Nouméa where they perform several times a week in restaurant, hotels or private party.
Fuego gitano sounds between a flamenco puro and the catalan's rumba. This music is feeling, not written, It's for those who can play a same composition in many different ways.

On stage since 10 years, the duo adapts its music to the public. Between soft flamenco guitar and furios, melodious and powerful rumba.
In 2007 Fuego Gitano was on stage for the 1st part of the great gipsy  guitarist Mario REYES.
In january 2010 Fuego Gitano was invited to perform in Brisbane (Australia ) and in August the National Australian Flamenco compagny asked Doulen to come back to be the singer of the creation Al Andaluz, and perform for 5 concerts at Queensland Art Center.
In April and May 2011, Fuego gitano was in tour in Vanuatu and Tahiti .
With  a lot of singing pieces: Bamboléo, A mi manera, amor de mis amores, Marina etc. and about ten instrumental composition, FUEGO GITANO can play for hours.. Recently the youngest of the family Noy 10 years old has transformed the duo in a trio with his presence at Cajon.
Also as requested, drums, bass and dancers are sometimes invited to the party to give a great stage presence.
