Only that! And why not?

History…
Pathy Tshindele, Mega Mingiedi and Iviart Izamba meet with the Academy of Beautiful Arts (ABA) with Kinshasa.
One day is born the idea to use what trails in the street, that whose people do not want any more, of the "stories", the carcasses, scrap, the remainders of the daily newspaper to make installations and to plant them of them in the beautiful medium of the Academy of Beautiful Arts (ABA), sacro-saint place of the academic guns… ten people joint to the project: is born Kinshasa Wenze Wenze (wenze = small market in lingala, Kinshasa odds and ends), first exposure "contempo" to the ABA or how to make art with refuse!
The idea of Kinshasa Wenze Wenze was to recover the scrap and in particular the carcasses of car which flood the city, of going in the pieces to repurchase them with the inhabitants, to transfer them onto the esplanade of the Academy of Beautiful Arts, and to make sculptures of them. To thus question the disorder of the life, individualism, that in Kin one calls "personal effort", need for each one for fighting…

The adventure finds relays at Jean-Michel Champault, then directing of the Market of Gombe - French Arts centre of Kinshasa, which decides to offer a residence to the POSSIBLE EZA, Jean-Christophe Lanquetin, scenographer, professor at the Higher School of Decorative Arts of Strasbourg and Daniel Shongo, director of the ABA, which places at the disposal of the artists vast spaces of the Academy.

"The team spirit, it is as scrap. As long as it is separated, that does not do anything. But when one gathers, when one welds, that done something."
The collective is set up in August 2003 with Pathy Tshindele, Méga Mingiedi, Iviart Izamba, Eddy Ekete, Kennedy Dinanga, Kura Shomali, Vitshois Mwilambwe, Olivier Toloko, Orion Kifuikidi, Kiki Kalonda, Labemba Labos and Géré Kondo.

After the exposure, certain members set out again in personal steps, while the collective continues around six artists: Pathy, Méga, Eddy, Kura, Kennedy and Freddy
