Culture Fund of Zimbabwe Trust

The Culture Fund of Zimbabwe Trust was established and registered as a Trust in 2006 to contribute to the growth and development of the culture sector in Zimbabwe through provision of financial and technical support to cultural practitioners, institutions and activities. The establishment of the fund came as a result of the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA) and stakeholders' desire to address inconsistent funding to the culture sector in Zimbabwe. The Culture Fund supports the following sub-sectors: * Film & Audiovisual & Multimedia Production * Cultural Heritage * Fine Arts and Crafts * Cultural Industries * Literature and Languages * Performing Arts What is our Vision? Our vision is "A dynamic, diversified and sustainable culture sector imbued with Zimbabwean values and identity, which contributes towards wealth creation". What is our Mission? Our mission is "to contribute to the growth of the culture sector in Zimbabwe by providing finance and technical support to cultural practitioners, institutions and activities". What are our Core Values? The Culture Fund believes that all its business practices should be tested for integrity and that operations should be efficient and quality never compromised. The Fund is committed to being held accountable for adding public value and being open and transparent before its stakeholders. The organisation promotes bold and creative behaviour whilst appreciating the importance of achieveing a balance through acting as a non-partisan player in the Culture Sector, in all choices and activities
