Didier Drogba is a striker for Chelsea and one of the most prominent players in the game today.

After making his way through the leagues in France he came to wider attention during Marseille's 2003-04 season, when his superb goalscoring form earned a move to Chelsea.

There, he spearheaded back-to-back title-winning seasons under Jose Mourinho, and has become one of the world's great strikers. With almost unrivalled strength and physical power, Didier is also highly skilful and possesses an all-round game that few defenders can stop.

After a troubled 2008 when he struggled with injuries, form and confidence, he re-discovered his form in 2009 and is once more one of the best strikers in football.

Didier represents Ivory Coast at international level and was a member of the team that reached the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations in January 2010.
