Cameroonian Actor, ScriptWriter, and Film Producer.

Nkanya made his first appearance on a movie set in 2008 with Seaside movies, Limbe, where he played the lead role in the movie
Becky Diana, and then supporting lead in The Walking Stick. He left Cameroon for further studies abroad and that marked a pause on film related activities till 2010 when he landed a role in a mega play The Crucible performed by LCC International University in Lithuania. He continued with the university theater troop performing in several other university Plays but was not known to the Cameroonian public until 2012 when he resurfaced with the blockbuster, The African Guest which
was his maiden project as a producer, shot in Colorado, U.S.A and Cameroon. From 2012 to 2016 Nkanya has written several screenplays and has produced four movies The African Guest, Viri, Nightfall and Life Point and coproduced the movie Woman for Goretti Etchu-Egbe and has been Unit director for Ben & Ara that has won several awards and recognition (among them the Best Foreign Feature Award, at Ecrans Noirs Film Festival 2016, Yaoundé).
Previously, he wrote NIGHTFALL with Karl Safindah, directed by Anurin Nwunembom (Best Cameroonian Feature Award, at Ecrans Noirs Film Festival 2015, Yaoundé)
