Koncerners is a youth band that formed in 2010 at the Wan Smolbag Youth Centre in Port Vila, Vanuatu. Over the past three years, the band has played in numerous events in Port Vila including Fete de la Musique, Fest Napuan and the Rock Stock show at Seafront in 2011, as well as winning runner up in the Reggae Faea HIV/AIDS song competition in 2010 and 2011.
In 2012, Koncerners went on its first overseas tour to New Caledonia to play at the Mata Pila Tegne Festival in Tuo, to represent Vanuatu and the youth voice!
Koncerners's songs speak to the people of Vanuatu about important issues affecting their livelihoods, delivered in a modern reggae/roots style infused with elements of traditional Vanuatu kastom-style rhythms.
