Kethy is from Tanna island. When she was little, she really liked drawing. When she arrived in Port-Vila, she was very interested in drawings and arts… That's how she met her husband. She doesn't know how to draw but her husband teach her. She really wanted to be able to make art to express her feelings. Then, her husband and sister in law Juliette Pita helped her to improve herself in that way. They also teach her to use traditional patterns of Erromango, where they belong, but she didn't feel comfortable with this. Little by little, she find her own artistic style. She uses different materials : paper, tapa (bark clothes), tissue and canvas. Most of all, she wants to transmit this skill to her children.
