Precursor can be found to the prison horrors of the XXth century, in the penal colony of French Guiana: a convict prison set on an archipelago, which made the lives of countless men a never-ending tragedy. The extraordinary adventures of four anonymous convicts who were among the last to survivey this concentration camp-style colony of France.
